The final for the poster.
This is a Blog on Computer Graphics class of Faculty of Creative Multimedia.
First, i plot out the asian region of the map with the pen tool on top of the blue ocean that was created using rectangular tool as well as for the black background.
Then, i flood the edges of the land by changing the continents color to suit the ocean colors and then pen tool another "unflooded" area on the African, Saudi Arabian, central Asian, Russian, and the Australian region. The border of this poster i made it black as though the whole region is surrounded by darkness when these disasters occurred.
This is the key word for the poster and it should be big, bold and bright. Global warming, i made it as if it is burning in flames. First, i use the eclipse tool to create a long oval shape, and then bold the outlines and put 2 different hot and warm colors in it. Then I use the crystallize tool to make the whole edges pointy and then the twirl tool to twirl it. Telling the people that global warming means the earth is getting hotter and hotter as if she is being burnt.
Global warming means the increase speed of seasonal ice melting on the north and south pole thus the faster the rise in sea water level.

After that, the cloud was drawn using the twirl tool, just twirl and twirl till i get the marshmallow effect, sweet. Anyway, i lower the opacity of the cloud so that it look abit cloudy and foggy effect. Was put around the moon to make it look cloudy.
Then the darker clouds which a farther away from the mountains appeared darker, some larger, and some smaller were placed as a background to strenghten to mountain night effect.
Here comes the Jed Rabbit, one of the symbol and legendary animal for the mid-autumn festival where it is said to be living on the moon making Chinese herb medicine. Simple shapes were drawn and then colors added. then i used the mesh tool to give a gradient effect on it.
The lanterns! This is what we see the most on mid-autumn festivals. Colorful from red, green, yellow hung up all over the streets. The whole lantern was drawn with the pen tool, color was added and stroke taken out. and then, i used the inner center glow to add another brighter glowing on it. then i used mesh tool to add some color effects on the sides. Lastly, a lantern glows, so i used the outer glow effect to finish it.
